There are three major festivals in the Christian Church calendar. Christmas, Easter, and _______________?
That’s right, Pentecost! When the Holy Spirit promised by Jesus comes to his followers after he ascends to the heavens, and the same Holy Spirit continues to come to us today. The Holy Spirit immerses us and he is in us as we trust in Jesus and join in his Kingdom work.
We will celebrate with one worship service at 10 a.m. This will be followed with a potluck lunch for all!
There will beĀ hot dogs, condiments, drinks and paper products supplied.Ā Bring a salad, side, other main course or dessert.

*** Please feel free to bring your items in early. Just call the church office (818-885-6861) to let us know you are coming over.Ā Also, bring your donations packed in boxes if possible. We will have some boxes on hand but if you can bring items packed in boxes it will be greatly appreciated.
Goodwill happily accepts the following new or gently used items:Ā
Personal computersāhard drive/tower, monitor, mouse, keyboard and printer (please erase personalĀ data before donating). Clothing, shoes and boots, Jewelry, Hats, gloves, mittens and scarves. Books, records, compact disks, video tapes and DVDs, Games, toys and sports equipment, Housewares: dishes,Ā glassware, kitchen utensils, lamps and small appliances. Sporting Goods, Bedspreads, blankets, andĀ liners. Artwork and Frames, Holiday Decorations, Collectibles, antiques, knickknacks and other giftware,
Hand tools and small power tools, Domestics: linens, curtains, blankets, etc., Electronics: TVāS, Stereos, radios, VCRs, DVD players, etc.
Goodwill will not accept these items for our fundraiser:Ā
