Not many Christians think of themselves as “unbelievers.” We normally use the term to describe people who are “seekers” or not-yet disciples of Jesus. But there are many things about God that we actually do not believe. Often there is a large gap between what we say we believe in our head, and what we truly believe in our heart. This is what is behind all sin.
Moving from unbelief to belief about what is true of God is a big part of gospel fluency, discipleship and the way out from sinful thoughts, actions or emotions.
