Four times a year, LIFEhouse Church members join other Christians from other local churches to show Christ's love by
going into the Camarillo and Chino Youth Prisons.
This group puts on 3-day Christian programs from 8 A.M. to 7 P.M. to incarcerated male and female juveniles ranging in age from 14 – 24 years of age.
These Christian programs involve talks, skits, forgiveness, unconditional love, food, recreation, celebration and much more. And, these events are followed by regular monthly follow-up team visits to reinforce the weekend lessons.
Some of the wards (we call them Stars) have been coming to these weekends for eight years before they are released or paroled. A sentence of 8 years is considered a lifetime sentence for a juvenile by the State of California.
