What is a LIFEhouse Stephen Minister?

A person who goes through thorough Christian caregiving training and is available for free for one-on-one visits during times of challenge and transition in life. Through careful listening, encouragement, and prayer, a Stephen Minister is there to connect with you and Jesus in your midst. All Stephen Ministers have been trained by LIFEhouse leaders and commissioned by the congregation.

How do I find a Stephen Minister?

If you or someone you know needs a Stephen Minister- someone who is grieving the loss of a loved one, hospitalized, going through medical treatment,  job loss, or currently suffering from any of life’s challenges, contact the church office- office@lifehouse.la/ 818-885-6861.  A person does not need to be a member of LIFEhouse nor a Christian to receive care from a Stephen Minister. All conversations are held in strict confidence.  A Stephen Minister can help in the process of addressing the fears and emotions that create anxiety and stress. Why wait? LIFEhouse Stephen Ministry Leaders will match the perfect Stephen Minister to meet your needs for care.
